Jessica is a passionate and dedicated lawyer who recently joined Carter Dickens Lawyers in May 2023. With a strong academic background, Jessica holds a Bachelor of Laws from Edith Cowan University and completed her Practical Legal Training with a Graduate Diploma in Legal Studies at the College of Law in 2019. Her commitment to her profession led to her admission to practice in the Supreme Court of Western Australia in November 2020.
Throughout her career, Jessica has gained valuable experience in a variety of legal settings. She has worked in a community legal center, a large global firm, and a small firm in the Western Suburbs. This diverse background has allowed her to develop expertise in areas such as Wills and Estates, as well as various Family Law matters, including de facto relationships, spousal maintenance, and binding financial agreements.
One of Jessica's greatest strengths lies in her ability to handle complex legal matters with ease. She thrives on the challenges they present, finding satisfaction in delving into intricate legal issues and providing sound advice to her clients. Furthermore, Jessica understands that her clients often go through emotionally challenging times. She sees herself as more than just a lawyer, but also as a source of stability and calm for her clients during their difficult moments. Her empathetic nature allows her to connect with her clients on a deeper level, providing them with the support they need throughout the legal process.
Outside of the legal realm, Jessica has a passion for 18th-century English literature, appreciating the timeless works that have shaped the literary world. Additionally, she finds solace in the company of her pets, cherishing the joy and companionship they bring to her life.
